Terms & Conditions for Trinity Cert TESOL

  1. Course fees include examination entry fee and some stationery and resources (including up to 200 photocopies, whiteboard markers, use of school folders and shared stationery including guillotine, hole punch and scissors). Trainees will also need their own notebooks, pens and other basic stationery. Once accepted onto the course, trainees must purchase and read the required pre-course reading (How to Teach English by Jeremy Harmer, 2007 edition or later).
  2. All applicants must attend an interview before being accepted onto a course; payment cannot be made until Training 4 TEFL staff interview and offer the applicant a place on the course. Attendance of interview does not guarantee acceptance onto the course.
  3. A minimum deposit of at least £200 GBP (UK) must be paid to secure a place on a course. Deposits are non-refundable except in the case of course cancellation by Training 4 TEFL (see below). Full fees can of course be paid at this stage. If necessary, a deposit can be transferred once only to a future course, providing the request for transferral is made at least 21 days before the course start date. A deposit cannot be transferred more than once.
  4. Full fees for the course must be paid at least 14 days before the course start date. Training 4 TEFL reserve the right to remove an applicant from a course in the event that full fees are not paid by this deadline, with no refund of deposit. Under no circumstances may an applicant begin a course unless full fees have been paid.
  5. If a student cancels his/her place on a course more than 21 days before the course start date, full fees will be refunded minus the deposit (£200 GBP) plus any other costs incurred by the school, such as UK visa fee (£10 – if the applicant requires a UK visa) or accommodation deposits (if the applicant books accommodation through the school). Refunds cannot be made at any time after this deadline including during courses or after course completion, except in the case of course cancellation by Training 4 TEFL (see below). 
  6. Training 4 TEFL reserve the right to cancel any course if the number of trainees does not meet the minimum requirement (6 trainees). In the event of course cancellation, Training 4 TEFL will either provide a place on a later course of equivalent value or provide a full refund of all course fees including deposit.
  7. The school is closed on public holidays, such as bank holidays. There are no classes on these days, although trainees may be required to complete additional assignments on these days in order to complete all required coursework on time.
